Turismo delle Radici

Sport, culture and rediscovering one’s roots for young people of Italian descent.

The "Turismo delle Radici" (roots tourism) project is the great strategy with which Italy reconnects with the millions of people of Italian descent around the world. Through sport, young Italian-Swiss people meet peers from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, the United States, Venezuela and Australia.

The Swiss delegation of CONI selects a team of girls and boys who experience two days of sport, friendship and rediscovery of Italian identity, with travel, meals and accommodation covered by the organisers (CONI and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

Due giorni di sport e cultura a Roma per giovani atleti italo-svizzeri.

Un fine settimana dedicato allo sport e alla scoperta delle radici italiane, con attività, visite e incontri.

Programme

Sabato 13 giugno 2026

  • Partenza da Zurigo alle 07:20
  • Pranzo ufficiale con le delegazioni internazionali a mezzogiorno
  • Pomeriggio: visita guidata di Roma

Domenica 14 giugno 2026

  • Intera giornata di gare sportive allo Stadio dei Marmi (Foro Italico)
  • Partenza serale: volo da Roma alle 20:15, arrivo a Zurigo alle 21:50

Incluso: voli andata e ritorno Zurigo-Roma, pasti, pernottamento, trasporti locali, assistenza in aeroporto, pranzo ufficiale, attività sportive e visita guidata della città.

Requisiti: nati nel 2013 o 2014, origine italiana, residenti in Svizzera, attivi in uno sport giovanile (calcio, basket o multisport). Non è richiesto un livello agonistico.

Posti disponibili: 3 atleti dalla Svizzera. Selezione in ordine di arrivo. Termine candidature: 17 maggio 2026 alle 12:00.

Accompagnamento: Delegato Nazionale Cirano Tondi, con staff bilingue italiano-tedesco.

Selection criteria

Età 8-14 anni, cittadinanza o origine italiana, tesseramento sportivo.
