The Swiss delegation of CONI at the fifth edition of the Trofeo CONI Kinder+Sport, held in Rimini and the surrounding towns from 20 to 23 September 2018 with more than 3300 young Under 14 athletes from every Italian region. Eight Italian-Swiss youngsters represented Switzerland, one of only two foreign teams together with Canada. The photos follow the opening parade, the events, the prize-givings and the moments of celebration among athletes and team leaders.

Press conference presenting the 15th Giornata Nazionale dello Sport (GNS 2018), for the first time held abroad as well. The Swiss delegation of CONI was represented by Italian-Swiss athlete Valentina Rosamilia, present at the CONI headquarters in Rome together with president Giovanni Malagò and the minister of the Italian Foreign Ministry.

The athletics events of the Giornata Nazionale dello Sport abroad, held on Sunday 3 June 2018 at the Sihlhölzli stadium in Zurich as part of the Italian Republic Day celebrations. Children and teenagers wearing the bib of the Swiss Delegation of CONI compete in the 80 metres, 80 metres hurdles, 1000 metres, high jump, long jump and shot put, followed by coaches, volunteers and families. At the side of the track the food stand with its wood-fired oven and, at the end of the day, the group photo in front of the CONI flag.

The Swiss delegation at the Trofeo CONI Kinder+Sport 2017 in the Marche region, based in Senigallia. Boys and girls between eleven and fourteen years old in white sweatshirts reading SVIZZERA with their passes around their necks: the arrival in town, the parade of the delegations with the Swiss flag among those of the Italian regions, the ceremony on the seafront and the evening fireworks. The athletics events were held on the track in Ancona.

The Swiss delegation of CONI at the Trofeo CONI 2016 in Cagliari: outdoor athletics events on the track, with flat races, hurdles, high jump and long jump. On the track girls and boys with numbered bibs alongside the Italian teams and the other foreign delegations such as CONI Canada. The album also tells of the transfers, the team dinner and the walk through the Castello district with a view over the harbour. All the images carry the watermark of the Swiss Delegation.

The sports day of the Swiss Delegation of CONI on 26 June 2016 in Zurich, from the lighting of the cauldron and the athletes' oath in the hall to the events of the four groups. The Italian flag carried by the children, the cantonal flags and the banner of the Giochi della Gioventù parade past, then come the races on the outdoor athletics track, the football matches on the grass and the swimming heats in the pool. The moments away from the competition are there too: the refreshment area, the face painting next to the banner of the Italian Cultural Institute and the group photo of the staff.

Day of the Giochi Sportivi Studenteschi of the Swiss Delegation of CONI, with accreditation at the desk marked CONI Italia Delegazione Svizzera, the parade of the teams with the signs of Geneva, Bern and Ticino and the speeches from the podium in front of the young people in light blue shirts. In the sports hall the futsal matches of boys and girls between eleven and sixteen years old are played. A second part of the report is devoted to the swimming races in the indoor pool, with starts, freestyle lengths and parents at the poolside.

Two Roman days in December 2014. The first takes place at the seat of the Rome Chamber of Commerce, inside the Temple of Hadrian in Piazza di Pietra, where the Fiamme Gialle sports groups present their year to officers of the Guardia di Finanza and athletes. The second covers the CONI National Council at the Foro Italico, with the presidency table and president Giovanni Malagò. A few images of the city in winter light complete the collection.

About twenty young people between eleven and fifteen years old, all in the light blue CONI Svizzera shirt, photographed at Zurich Airport together with their team leaders. The photos follow every stage of the departure: baggage check-in, passport control, waiting at the gate and bus transfer to the aircraft. The delegation boards the direct flight to Rome Fiumicino, with a group photo in front of the plane and a few pictures taken on board.

The CONI Svizzera delegation takes part in Rome in the celebrations for the hundredth anniversary of the Italian National Olympic Committee. The photos document the days at the Foro Italico, with the 1914-2014 anniversary logo, the band in uniform, the Frecce Tricolori aircraft on public display and the gala dinner at the Stadio dei Marmi in front of Palazzo H. The collection is completed by the performances of the young athletes at the Olympic Stadium and the reception of the foreign Olympic delegations in the Giulio Cesare hall on the Capitoline Hill.

The photos document the day of the Giochi Sportivi Studenteschi of CONI Svizzera at the Sportanlage Wankdorf in Bern, opened in the gym with the parade of the delegations of Aargau, Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne and Lucerne, the Italia CONI flag carried by the young people and the lighting of the Olympic cauldron. During the day the young athletes competed in athletics on the outdoor track, between sprints, shot put and hurdles, and then in swimming in the indoor pool, football on the grass pitch and team games. The participants are schoolchildren gathered in city delegations.

The day opens in the hall with the inaugural ceremony: hundreds of young people in the white CONI shirt wave small Italian flags in front of the Swiss flag, the Italian flag and the CONI banner, while the signs of the consular delegations of Zurich, St. Gallen and Liechtenstein, Neuchâtel and Lausanne are raised. The events continue outdoors in the athletics stadium, with track races, long jump and shot put, and on the grass pitches alongside the football tournaments are played between boys and girls aged eight to fifteen. The day closes with the prize-giving, the cup raised on the podium and medals around their necks.
